Survey Module - Assess your IT or physical security posture using a role-based, context sensitive survey. The survey standardizes data collection to ensure meaningful, detailed results.

Profile the site – Define the type of facility being assessed, the areas of focus, and the points of contact, including the assessor information. Map the facility location using Google® Maps. The site profile drives targeted security assessment questions.
Identify and Rate Critical Assets – Determine the presence or absence of types of critical assets and how valuable they are to your organization.
Characterize Threats and Hazards – Rate the frequency and severity of natural hazards, accidents, and deliberate threats in your environment.
Identify Security Controls – Objectively measure and record in-place security controls to drive a quantifiable measurement of Vulnerability. Descriptions of controls, their benefits, and tips on how to inspect them are embedded in the survey.

Advanced Analysis gives you the power to dig deeper into risk factors and the freedom to explore Threat, Vulnerability, and Criticality in-depth, including “what-if” analysis.

Countermeasure Cost - Allows the analysts to input the costs associated with the implementation and maintenance of a proposed countermeasure that will, in turn, be used for calculations in the cost benefit analysis.

On-Screen Cost Benefit Analysis - Analysts can prioritize the in-place and proposed security measures based on contributions to security posture, countermeasure cost, or return on investment.

Remediation Tracking - An additional risk-management feature, which allows the analyst to track security improvements and continuously update the organization’s security posture.

CM Report Suite - CounterMeasures® report suite includes many different reports. All reports are compatible with Adobe Acrobat distiller, and the primary report exports to Microsoft Word.

MS Excel Interface - Export the results of your analysis to MS Excel. The information provides you the analytical flexibility to either use the preformatted depictions or to create your own custom charts and graphs.

Results Warehouse - The results or your analysis are saved and accessible by you for the duration of your subscription.

Share Assessments – Facilitate a team approach to large-scale assessments by sharing the assessment with your teammates. One user can start an assessment, and then share it with other members of the group to finish it.

Reassign Assessments – As a team ourselves, the CounterMeasures® division understands that groups are dynamic and work assignments change. You can reassign assessments from one person to another to promote continuity of work and transfer of knowledge. There is no need to export or import files and notes; just reassign the assessment to another team member quickly and easily.

Multi-Assessment Rollup – CounterMeasures® adds value to your process by providing multi-assessment rollup analysis. Compare sites to each other to understand common problems, standard deviation, where the majority of facilities share risk, and identify outliers needing remediation.

Multi-Assessment Reports – Once you have compared facilities to each other, depict ____ using multiple assessment reports for policy changes, security funding, or action items.

Basic Administration – Administer your team’s access privileges and roles using the Admin module. Manage up to 5 users, including type of access, time periods, expiration of accounts, and reactivation of accounts.
