Survey Module - Assess your IT or physical security posture using a role-based, context sensitive survey. The survey standardizes data collection to ensure meaningful, detailed results.

Enterprise Wide Data Collection - Also has the ability to collect security or compliance surveys from an unlimited number of survey-only installations of the software program.

Web Survey Interface - Allows your organization to collect security surveys/inspections via the world-wide-web or your local area network.

Network Installation Option – Allows multiple users to concurrently access/update the same database installed on shared server.

Pictures - Analysts can add pictures to their surveys; enhancing the ability to accurately record and document assessments.

Documents - Users are now able to upload up to five images and five documents in the “Comments” tab of the survey module. Examples include current security plans, evacuation plans, blueprints and personnel rosters.

Analysis Platform - Analyzes surveys to determine vulnerability and risk level, and also determines compliance levels with industry-specific regulations.

Countermeasure Cost - Allows the analysts to input the costs associated with the implementation and maintenance of a proposed countermeasure that will, in turn, be used for calculations in the cost benefit analysis.

On-Screen Cost Benefit Analysis - Analysts can prioritize the in-place and proposed security measures based on contributions to security posture, countermeasure cost, or return on investment.

Remediation Tracking - An additional risk-management feature, which allows the analyst to track security improvements and continuously update the organization’s security posture.

CM Report Suite - CounterMeasures® report suite includes over 20 different reports. All reports are compatible with Adobe Acrobat distiller, and the primary report exports to Microsoft Word.

MS Excel Interface - Export the results of your analysis to MS Excel in 44 preformatted reports and tables. The information provides you the analytical flexibility to either use the preformatted depictions or to create your own custom charts and graphs.

Configuration Module - Allows the analyst to either modify the out-of-the-box sets of security regulations, and issue or create custom sets to meet the organization’s specific needs.

Multiple Datasets - You can customize your own ‘datasets’ which contain the rules, regulations, and environmental characteristics that apply to your organization. Additionally, you can use import, use, and customize previously developed datasets for Port Security, Information Security (based on NIST), Physical Security, and/or HIPAA.

Results Warehouse - The results or your analysis can be saved in a database format for use with other programs and report-writing software.

Training - Alion provides 2 days of training in the operation of the CounterMeasures® application at our location in Alexandria , Virginia. Training at the client site is available for an additional charge.
